In 1993, I participated in a dance-off at the County Fair in Wausau to be a back up dancer for AI Yankovic. I was chosen. What a great entertainer and experience.

In my free time I create Stained Glass pieces. Take a look at my Facebook page, "Decorative Glass by' Winnie".
My years growing up in the Caste Hill Projects had its ups and downs, like everyone else. The downs you try to push to the back of the memory chain and the ups you grab on to. A memory that always stays with me was being the Maid of Honor for Pat Bannon (Allinger). It meant more to me that she can ever know.
A tragic but funny memory was when we went to the beach on an overcast day. and all feel asleep. Most of us woke up to severe sun burns, Pat Binningers' Mom said to wrap rags soaked in tea around the burn. It would pull the sting out and help pealing. The next day I had to ride the crowded train to Wall Street, where I was working. Face. legs. and torso was sooo inflamed. Of course. the other NY subway passengers were courteous enough to stay away. NOT!!!!
Joe. from the store. would make me toasted English muffins with thin bologna and American cheese. To this day, I think of him when I make one.
